Rescheduled Hermantown City Council meeting canceled
HERMANTOWN, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Hermantown City Council has canceled its meeting that was adjourned and rescheduled following a protest that broke out Monday night.

The City Council stated that the meeting was canceled due to “concerns the meeting would impact early voting,” according to a press release Tuesday.
“Early voting is occurring in Council Chambers until 7 p.m. on October 27. The decision reflects the desire to ensure safe, secure entry and exit for voters without overlap with arriving meeting attendees. Respect for the voting process and those who choose to participate in early voting is paramount,” said the City of Hermantown.
The city says that no plans to reschedule the meeting have been announced.
