Woman charged with arson after Greysolon Apartments fire in downtown Duluth
Resident accused of setting fire in her unit, causing $70,000 in damage
DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A resident of Greysolon Apartments is in jail after a structure fire at the downtown Duluth building last week.
Carmenetta Holt is charged with first degree arson.

Firefighters were called to Greysolon Plaza around 5:30 p.m. Friday night after flames were seen coming from a window. Crews found fire in one unit.
Holt, who lived in the unit, was taken to the hospital for a mental health crisis.
Officials say they found several lighters in Holt’s apartment and a pile of burned clothes in the closet.
Holt is now in the St. Louis County Jail and is scheduled for her first court appearance Monday morning.
Damage from the fire is estimated around $70,000.
