Kendall Jarboe joined Northern News Now as a news producer and reporter in May 2020 and is now the evening anchor for Northern News Now at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. She also works on special reporting projects, including her exclusive segment called The Local Exchange which highlights small businesses in the Northland.
Kendall is from Fort Worth, Texas, where her passion for local news began. After competing in a broadcasting event for her speech and debate team in high school, Kendall knew this was the career for her.
She attended Biola University in Southern California, majored in broadcast journalism, and minored in Spanish. Kendall interned at NBC 5/KXAS-TV in Fort Worth in 2019. She loved working on the digital news team, thrived off of the energy in the newsroom, and developed her commitment to local news.
Kendall has loved every minute of her time living and working in the Northland and has learned to embrace the cold! In her free time, Kendall loves going on hikes with her husband, drinking coffee, and trying out local restaurants.
