Hunter grew up just a hop skip and a jump away from Duluth on a lake in Brimson, MN. He graduated in 2015 from Two Harbors High School and shortly after that he attended Saint Cloud State University. He graduated from there with a major in Meteorology and a minor in Mass Communications in 2019.
Weather has always been of interest for Hunter, he says it fascinated him a long time ago. He never considered making it a career until he took an aptitude test in the 11th grade, and the rest was history!
When Hunter isn't checking up on the weather, he's probably out with his band "The Northwoods Band" performing somewhere around the region. He's the lead singer, drummer, and keyboard player. The man of many talents also finds time to hunt, fish, and downhill ski.
