Erin Mata joined the Northern News Now team in June 2023 as a morning anchor. She grew up in Southern California and graduated from Loyola Marymount University.
While at LMU Erin interned with the Los Angeles Dodgers in their Special Events and Promotion Department and was a Host/Reporter for Mun2 Television at NBC Universal. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies she worked in the non-profit and higher education sectors.
Erin enjoys adventuring with her husband and two children and they are looking forward to experiencing all the seasons in the Northland.
