Cody Lenarz

Cody started here in July of 2020 as the morning show producer before moving to the evening newscast this September.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Professional Journalism.

While on campus, he worked for the Gopher Digital Productions filming and producing a swath of Gopher sporting events.

It was there where he became an "intense Gopher fan" and still is today.

Cody was born and raised in Elrosa, a town of about 200 people, in Central Minnesota two hours west of the Twin Cities on I-94.

He has always loved Duluth after many family vacations to Northland while growing up and is excited to be so close to Lake Superior rather than surround by corn and soybean fields.

Cody enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring all of the state parks along the North Shore, watching sports and musicals, and listening to all kinds of music, especially the Northwood's Band.
