He was one of 13 men arrested last March during a sting by Bloomington police.

Now, his case will head to trial on March 30.

Eichorn’s attorneys wanted the federal case dismissed, arguing he was only charged because he was a lawmaker.

A judge rejected that request recently, paving the way for Eichorn’s trial.

The republican resigned from the state senate last year shortly after he was charged.

A judge ordered him to spend time in a Duluth halfway house as his case plays out.
