Brightwater Health Opens under new brand supporting mental health
Mental Health Facility works to improve the community
DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Brightwater Health is rebranding and creating a facility to help those struggling with mental health.
Brightwater Health, formerly known as Human Development Center, held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday and announced that they are rebranding while emphasizing hope, healing and forward momentum in the name of mental health.
“Having everyone here is really a thank you and a place to congregate and enjoy the work we’ve done. Because it’s not so much about Brightwater Health as it is about the community,” said Ben Hatfield, CEO of Brightwater Health.
The facility is focused on being a centralized location for more than 25 programs that offer inclusive healthcare.
Brightwater Health is located on 2nd Street in Downtown Duluth.
