Three survive Aitkin County plane crash

AITKIN COUNTY, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Three people are in stable condition after a plane crashed in Aitkin County on Sunday.
According to the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded around 4:26 p.m. to reports of a plane crash about half a mile southeast of the McGregor Airport.
An initial investigation shows that the plane, a Piper PA-28 140, lost power shortly after takeoff. It was attempting to return to McGregor Airport when it went down in a swampy area short of the runway.
Three adult passengers were aboard the plane when it crashed. One of the passengers was life-flighted for treatment, and the other two were taken to Riverwood Hospital in Aitkin.
They were identified as: Kaden Brazinsky, 23, of Ham Lake Wyatt Sherry, 22, of New Richmond Jocelyn Erlandson, 23, of Ham Lake.
Authorities say all three victims are in stable condition and are being treated for their injuries.
