4 cats, 2 dogs dead in Virginia house fire

VIRGINIA, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Crews are battling a house fire in Virginia that killed several animals Tuesday afternoon.

The firefight is happening on 3rd Street South and was reported around 2:50 p.m.

Multiple Iron Range fire departments are on scene.

Four cats and two dogs perished in the fire, according to Friends of the Northland FireWire.

There are no reports of human injuries at this time.
