Semi crashes into river near Cloquet

BREVATOR TOWNSHIP, MN. (Northern News Now) - It was slow going for some drivers following a semi crash just north of Cloquet.
A semi drove through a guard rail and into the White Pine River Tuesday afternoon and caused traffic delays on Highway 33. The crash happened near Brevator Cemetery.
Northern News Now is still working to learn what caused the crash and the condition of the driver.
One lane on Highway 33 was closed for a time as crews worked to get the vehicle out of the water.
The road has since fully re-opened.
