City by City: Duluth, Chisholm, Virginia

Duluth, MN- The Donna Howard Community Connect will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 26. All community members are invited to access services from several organizations in Duluth. Available resources include a hot meal, warrant resolution, haircuts, a vaccine clinic, free clothes and more. A few of the organizations in attendance include Safe Haven, Life House, St. Louis County and Chum.

Chisholm, MN- The United Way of Northeastern Minnesota needs volunteers for the Buddy Backpack program. Over 1,000 food-insecure students use these bags. Volunteers are needed for several prepping dates. Additionally, there are three packing dates set for November on the 7, 16 and 28.

Virginia, MN- Lyric Center for the Arts is hosting its 4th annual Halloween Photo Booth Party on Thursday, October 26 from 2-4 p.m. There will be a photo booth as well as art to be made and a dance party in the Annex. New this year, Lyric will have a live DJ.
