SUPERIOR, WI -- Superior’s mayor is running for re-election.
Mayor Jim Paine shared that announcement Thursday afternoon.
Paine’s expected to speak at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, sharing more about his priorities if elected to his second full term.
KBJR 6 will have more on that in our 10 p.m. newscast.
So far no one else has publicly announced a run for mayor.
The race will be on the ballot in April, 2023.
Paine was first elected in 2017.
He filled the last two years of former Mayor Bruce Hagen’s term when he stepped down.
Then in 2019, Paine ran unopposed for his first full term.
