Bulldogs survive and beat Mustangs 31-21 to start the season 1-0

DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - The Bulldogs opened up their regular season at home beating the SMSU Mustangs 31-21.

The Bulldogs offense started out hot jumping out to an early 21-7 lead, but the Mustangs would respond with 14 unanswered to tie the game at 21 going into the fourth quarter.

But, Logan Graetz and Noah Skifton connected in the fourth for the go-ahead touchdown to go up 28-21.

Up next for the Bulldogs is a road game against Minnesota State, Saturday, September 10th.
