TONIGHT: Another mild night is predicted for the Northland although a cold front will be passing through the area. Due to the lack of moisture, rain is very unlikely to form from this cold front. A line of thin clouds are possible around midnight through Wednesday morning. Besides that, Tuesday night will be mostly clear with warmer lows in the mid to lower 60s. Winds will continue to be from the southwest between 5-10 mph before changing back to the north-northwest once the cold front passes over. High pressure moves in behind the cold front to keep the rest of the week dry.

WEDNESDAY: Besides a weak cold front that’ll bring a line of clouds during the morning hours, Wednesday will be another sunny day with slightly cooler highs. Temperatures for most of the Northland will be just under 80 degrees while areas in Wisconsin and UP will reach the 80s briefly. Winds will change back to the northwest between 5-10 mph keeping the slightly cooler and drier air around. Lows will fall back to the mid 50s Wednesday night with mostly clear skies. High pressure continues to move towards the Northland from Canada to keep the area comfortable and nice.

THURSDAY: With high pressure moving directly over the Northland by Thursday, sunshine and even cooler highs are likely for Thursday. Highs will be in the lower to mid 70s with more sunshine. What’s even better is the winds will change direction once again to the east bringing a lake breeze for most of the lake towns. Winds will be between 5-10 mph so some areas around the lake will barely reach 70 degrees. The lake breeze will continue into nightfall with lows falling to the lower to mid 50s.
