DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - With one more regular season game left to go, their one goal remains. Duluth FC looks to claim the top spot in the NPSL North, sitting just one point behind rival Med City FC.

The Bluegreens currently holds a 13-2 record in the second spot of their 8-team division. Sioux Falls Thunder FC is their final test until post-season play begins. While Duluth has beaten them earlier this season and has already qualified for playoffs, the Bluegreens still need to take care of business to have a chance at bringing home that conference trophy. Head coach Sean Morgan says the boys are bought in, receptive, and ready to go.

“Anything can happen in playoffs, we were on the wrong side of the result last year and I thought we deserve to win the game, but I really do think this group has the potential to go really far. If we do the right things tomorrow in the game and set ourselves up nicely for Tuesday, ya know I’m confident that we can get another couple of wins under our belt and put a run together for playoffs,” said Morgan.

“I mean everyone’s just buzzing around here. We’re all happy and having good vibes. We have to show up and do our part. Without us winning tomorrow we potentially can’t take first seed and then we watch Saturday and see if it falls in our way,” said Perry.

Kick-off is at 7 pm on Friday at Public Schools Stadium.
