Duluth firefighters training to gain new life-saving skills

DULUTH, MN-- The Duluth Fire Department conducted a HAZMAT emergency training Tuesday to learn how to respond to fuel or propane emergencies.
The training is taking place at the Superior Fuel Company’s Cant Rd. location in Duluth.
This training allows their firefighters to gain knowledge of what they can do to assist in the event they respond to a scene involving a fuel or propane emergency, especially if a driver is unresponsive due to an injury or medical condition.
The training is July 12, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., July 13, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and July 15, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
