DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - After 40 years of business, one Salvation Army thrift store in Duluth will be closing its doors at the end of the month.

To show their appreciation, the thrift store on W. Superior St. will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day Tuesday, June 21.

This will kick off the “Everything 50% off” store closing sale.

Officials say, with merchandise moving faster than anticipated, the store’s official close date will be Friday, July 1.

“The decision to close has been an emotional one for our staff and for the community, but this Customer Appreciation Day gives us the opportunity to connect with the public to express our gratitude for their 40 years of support.” said Captain Teri Ellison, Corps Officer

Coffee and cookies will be provided in the store.
