DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - Two Minnesota State softball championship titles were on the line on Friday. The top-seeded Proctor Rails took on the third-seeded Chatfield Gophers in the Class AA Finals. Unfortunately, Chatfield would outscore Proctor by a final of 3-2, winning their first-ever softball state title.

In the Class A Finals, the second-seeded Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels took on top-seeded Nicollet Raiders. This one was also a nail-biter, but it was the Raiders who came out on top, 3-2 winning the Class A State title.
