Flags fly at half-staff following Robb Elementary School shooting in Texas
ST. PAUL, MN-- Governor Tim Walz ordered flags to fly at half-staff at state and federal buildings in Minnesota following the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
“As we mourn the loss of the victims of this senseless act of violence, we know the pain we experience as a nation is only amplified for the friends and families of the victims,” said Governor Walz.
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are also encouraged to join in lowering their flags.
Nationally, President Joe Biden ordered flags to be flown at half-staff White House, all public building grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States until sunset, May 28.
