DULUTH, MN-- Duluth’s Memorial Day parade needs more floats and leaders are asking community members to sign up.
The Duluth Women of Today are organizing the May 30 event.
While it is free to participate, parade organizers say there are a few rules.
1. No politics displayed on floats, the focus is on veterans who gave their lives in service.
2. Whatever your business or organization, you are asked to show your patriotism by decorating your unit /vehicle in red, white, and blue.
After some discussion on the parade’s future, the City and local veterans agreed that the parade will stay in Duluth this year.
Parade leaders said they are accepting entries through May 25.
