New campground at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park opening in June

DULUTH, MN-- After two years of construction, a new campsite at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park will open in June.
The Shipwreck Creek Campground will welcome visitors starting June 1.
It will have 46 drive-in campsites with electricity.
They’re the first vehicle-accessible campsites at Split Rock.
The campground also has a shower building and nearby access to hiking and mountain biking trails.
Reservations open April 5.
