SUPERIOR, WI. (KBJR) - The Superior Police Department has launched a new way for residents to report an incident online.
The Citizens Online Reporting System allows people to report incidents that don’t require an emergency response.
Reportable incidents include:
-Animal complaints
-Area checks
-Damage to property
-Drug complaints
-Fraud/ identity theft
-Gas drive-offs
-Harassment
-Lost property
-Parking complaints
-Shoplifting
-Theft
-Traffic complaints
This system also allows users to register bicycles, add additional information to existing reports, and submit crime tips while staying anonymous.
Superior Police say the new system provides a convenient alternative option to file reports.
However, if reporting an emergency you are still asked to call 911.
