Car crashes into Superior Salvation Army store

SUPERIOR, WI -- A car crashed into the Superior Salvation Army building Friday afternoon.

A 70 year old female told officers she was attempting to park in front of the store when the car went forward suddenly and came to a stop inside the store.

According to our crew on scene, crews were towing the car away around 2:30 p.m.

The car did some damage to the storefront.

The driver did not complain of any injuries, but was transported by first responders to Essentia Superior as a precaution. No one inside the store was injured.
