SUPERIOR, WI-- Another canine king and queen will soon be crowned this year as part of a popular northern winter festival.
The time is now to cast your votes for the Lake Superior Ice Festival Canine King & Queen Contest and the Felines of the Festival Contest!
Voting has started and ends the evening of January 24.
To cast your vote, click here.
It will cost $1 per vote.
One male and one female will be chosen from both the Dog and Cat categories.
Canine winners will be crowned Saturday, January 29 at 1:15 p.m. in Festival Park.
Proceeds will go to help Humane Society of Douglas County in providing essential care to the lost, homeless, and abandoned animals.
