Sir Benedict’s hosts kids buffet raising donations towards ’Toys for Tots’
DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - The Christmas City of the North Parade draws thousands of people to Superior Street each year.
One business that’s become a popular place to watch along the route is showing what the holiday spirit is truly about.
Sir Benedict’s Tavern will be collecting donations towards ‘Toys for Tots’ during the parade Friday night.
Josh Stotts, who owns Sir Ben’s, said it’s important to them to support this cause so they hope the whole town will come out.
Stotts said “Our fire pit tables going. We will have wood-bearing fire pits going on, s’mores for the kids, outdoor bar. We have some heaters coming as well. Hopefully this year, it’s a little warmer than it has been in the past.”
Stotts said all proceeds from the children’s buffet at Friday night’s event will go directly to “Toys for Tots.”
Typically, they raise about $600 or $700, but Stotts is hoping to reach a $1,000 this year. The parade starts Friday night at 6:30 P.M.
